The Humboldt Association Bulgaria gathers Bulgarian scientists of all spheres who were granted the Alexander von Humboldt Award (www.avh.de). The foundation named after von Huboldt supports specialisations of perspective young scientists in leading scientific institutions in Germany. The Bulgarian association held a regular meeting to report the activities during the past two years, and new management was voted. The Chair became Prof. Georgy Vaysilev (Faculty of Chemistry, Sofia University), Deputy Chairs Prof. Savcho Tinchev (Institute of Electronics, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences) and Prof. Nikolay Lazarov (Faculty of Medicine, Sofia Medical University).
