Pavel Stoyanov, Department of German and Scandinavian Studies, Faculty of Classical and Modern Philology was awarded a special prize on 6th July, 2012.
Pavel Stoyanov graduated from Sofia University and University of Goteborg, Sweden. The experience he gained has been applied in his diverse activities.
The acknowledgement was given for his lecturing and research in the field of linguistics, as well as for his achievements as an interpreter.
His main contributions are popularization of the Swedish language and culture, as well the central role in the establishment and development of the speciality Scandinavian Studies at Sofia University, which celebrates its 20 years jubilee.
