A student national dance was part of the official opening of the new park area in front of block 52. Guests of the event were the Rector, Prof. Ivan Ilchev, his assistant Kalin Stanukov, engineer, and Mr. Petko Goranov, the executive director of Accommodation and Catering.
The area is newly designed and planted, with pavement, benches and lamps.
The project is an initiative of the students who live in the block and was realised with the financial support of the Bord of Trustees at Sofia University and the Rectors' Council. The newly planted area will provide nice conditions to study in the open during the forthcoming exam session.
