The academic week for the students of Russian Literature at the Faculty of Slavic Studies started by the lecture delivered by Prof. Hans-Jurgen Lusebrink. The lecture was on "French language issues out of France during the Renaissance and the Napoleon epoch \based on theatre almanacs"
Prof. Lusebrink works at the University of Saarbrucken, Germany is a renowned researcher in the field of the peculiarities of the 18th c. Francophone culture out of France. He noted the role of Germany and Russia as Francophone countries, admiring French language, culture, poetry, and theatre.
