With the open lecture on Culture and Identity: How They Influence Governance, Sofia University Centre for the Study of Religions presents its new Project
The project is managed by Assoc. Prof. Simeon Evstatiev, Department of Arabic and Semitic Studies, with the financial support of the National Science Fund.
The lecture opens the international workshop on the project, and starts on 11th March, at 18:00 in Hall 1.
Prof. Dr Dale Eickelman (Dartmouth College, USA; Wissenschaftskolleg zu Berlin) is a leading anthropologist of Islam and the Middle East.
