These words by Acad. Peter Kenderov, President of the International Foundation "St. St. Kiril and Methodius", opened the ceremony of awarding 100 grants "Nellie and Robert Gipson" for students with low income studying at Bulgarian universities.
Thanks to the Gipsons, generous donators from the USA in cooperation with the American Foundation for Bulgaria, students with low-income have been granted BGN 1500 grant for the academic year. The initiative was addressed by the President, Mr. Parvanov, who announced the deep gratitude and involvement of our community in the humanitarian act.
The grant holders were addressed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Maria Shishnyova, Vice-Rector, who wished them success and bright Christmas.
