The American President Roosevelt said 65 years ago that wars are contagious. The key role of the Bulgarian foreign policy is to prevent war and conflicts.
These were the words of the foreign minister Nikolay Mladenov during his open lecture dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the Charter of the United Nations. He emphasized on the Bulgarian position on key problems on a global scale, such as the Charter, piracy and terrorism, nuclear weapons, environmental issues, goals of the millennium.
