Mrs. Agnes Hwa-yue Chen, Head of Mission of Taipei Representative Office in Greece, met the Rector, Prof. Ivan Ilchev during her first visit to Bulgaria.
The Rectors of Sofia University has consistently broadened the international collaboration since the beginning of the previous mandate. The focus is the fast developing eastern countries, such as China, Japan, Korea. Mrs. Agnes Hwa-yue Chen showed great interest in different options for collaboration in the field of philology as well as in the field of IT, sea biology, climate changes, teacher exchange, etc.
Prof. Ivan Ilchev was officially invited to visit Taiwan, which would allow for meeting Rectors of Taiwan universities and common interests and opportunities for partnership in education and science to be discussed in details.
