This year the deadline for the deans to submit proposals is 15th November.
The name of the Award
The full name of the Award is "Best Young Scientist of Sofia University 'St. Kliment Ohridski'" (The Award).
The goal of The Award
The goal of the award is to give a material side of the Sofia University acknowledgment of the contributions made by the young generation Bulgarian scientists, who have worked towards development of the research. It also aims to stimulate succession in the field of research and to acknowledge the international prestige of Bulgarian science.
Who it is given to
1) The awarded must be renowned among the researchers in the field and to have significant contribution for the prestige of the science in Bulgaria.
2) They must not have turned 35 years by the day of the proposal submission and must have had at least three years of employment contract with Sofia University.
3) The Award is given regardless of nationality, residence, age (except for the cases in article 2)), sex, scientific standing (except for the cases in article 2)), political or religious orientation, or any other criteria excluding the above mentioned.
