A Jubilee Concert of the University Group for Antique Music dedicated to its 25th anniversary was given on 18th December, in the Aula
On 1st November, 1983, Acad. Georgi Bliznakov (Rector), Tanya Hristova (the founder of the ensemble “Johan Kukuzel”), and a group of students and lecturers from different Faculties, established the University Group for Antique Music.
The conductors of the Group have been Tanya Hristova and Georgi Gerganov. Concerts have been given in may European university cities such as Brussels, Bratislava, Munich, Kiev, Solun and many others, proving that the academic space is not only a gathering point for science, but also for culture, arts and enthusiasm.
