The discussion on the acceptance of Turkey in the EU in Hall 2 was a hot one.
The event was organized by the Student Discussion Club "280" in collaboration with the Foundation Conrad Adenauer.
What was discussed was the pros and cons, the positions of France, Germany and Austria, as well as the unique position on the Balkans as a result of the long history of violence and migration. The debate is huge due to the geographical position of the country, its policy towards the Armenian people, the conflict in Cyprus, religious issues, among others.
