International Humboldt Conference on "Interdisciplinary research of Bulgarian cultural heritage" was opened on 19th November in the Aula.
The theme of the conference was chosen to reflect problems and tendencies with great importance for the expanding European Union. The holders of the grant after the name of Humboldt present their analysis of the cultural heritage of the Balkans.
The participants were addressed by the President Mr. Parvanov, Assoc. Prof. Sergey Ignatov, Minister of Education, and Prof. Ivan Ilchev, the Rector.
