The conference was organized by Association "Group Colour - Bulgaria", the French Colour Association, Sofia University, Centre for Intercultural Communication and Mediation, Faculty of Classical and Modern Languages, with the support of the French Institute in Sofia.
The theme "Colour and Language" incorporates a wide variety of interdisciplinary problems. The discussion they invoke gathers specialists from different scientific fields. It will contribute to exchange of experience and aims to lay the foundation of a complex data base for developing a colour glossary of the Bulgarian language, which comprises the main aspects of colour science.
