"I strongly believe that this work will be used by generations of Bulgarian historians who want to research about the faith of the Bulgarians in Russia, Ukraine, and Moldova"
These words by Assoc. Prof. Plamen Mitev, Dean of the Faculty of History opened the promotion of two new books dedicated to the Bulgarian communities abroad.
The promotion is a result of collaboration between Sofia University, Agency for Bulgarians Abroad, and the academic publishing house "Prof. Marin Drinov".
The books present the history and contemporary life of the Bulgarians in Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Lithuania, and many others.
