"I would like to study at Sofia University, Informatics. I believe there are a lot of opportunities for work", said Vladislav Haralampiev, the winner of the gold in the 22nd International Olympic Competition in Informatics in Waterloo, Canada.
The Bulgarian team won four medals in the Olympics in Informatics, two golden, one silver, and a bronze. The students are under the tuition of Assist. Prof. Emil Kelevedzhiev, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, and Prof. Stoyan Karpalov, Technical University, Gabrovo. Rumen Hristov, Vladislav Haralampiev, Anton Atanasov and Mihail Kovatchev competed with 292 students from 84 countries.
