Human "chimeras"and a Sofia University young scientist at FameLab

Aleksandrina Dzhasem won the National Final of FameLab

Aleksandrina will represent the country at the International Final in the UK, in contest with the representatives of another 14 countries - talking about science in a popular way. The 24-year student graduated Molecular Biology at Sofia University and is studying MA in Genetics. She won the national competition with a very interesting presentation on Human "Chimeras" - a talk about a phenomenon with human DNA. Aleksandrina won the public award as well.

The second came Milen Bogdanov, Faculty of Chemistry, Sofia University, who presented a social model of catalysts. The third award took Maria Atanasova, student of Sofia University, who presented small animals at the size of 1 mm, which can loose 99% of their internal water.
