Prof. Popivanov addressed the participants on behalf of the Rector, Prof. Ilchev, and expressed his belief that the needed changes in Bulgaria will be made by the new generation.

Official guests were Their Excellencies the Ambassadors of South Africa H.E. Mrs. Sheila Camerer, Republic of Ireland H.E. Jeffrey Keating, Turkey H.E. Mehmet Cucuk, and Italy H.E. Stefano Benazzo.

The conference was organised by the Permanent Seminar in International Law and EU Law of Sofia University.
