The donation ceremony was hosted by the Ministry of Culture. The Deputy Minister of Colture Dr. Todor Chobanov dressed in "hanpok" - men's traditional clothing - as invited by the Ambassador. Dr. Chobanov noted the similarities between the two cultures, which date centuries back. Prof. Alexander Fedotov, Head of the Center for Eastern Languages and Studies thanked for the generous donation and promised to invite the guests for a concert of the students in Korean Studies, dressed in the costumes. The Ambassador noted that the gesture is in return to the donation by the Minister of Culture Vezhdi Rashidov, who gave Bulgarian national costumes to the students in Korea.
