The Vice-Rector, Prof. Nedyu Popivanov and HE Judith Lang, the Ambassador of Hungary opened a thematic exhibition "Freedom and Democracy",dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Demolition of the Iron Curtain.
Assoc. Prof. Iskra Baeva who is a lecturer of Contemporary History and History of Central Europe after the World War II introduced the attending students, lecturers and citizens to the key issues of the exhibition.
The opening was attended by ambassadors of the EU countries in Sofia, as well as other diplomats.
The exhibition is located in the foyer of the Faculty of History, 2nd floor, South Wing and will be open for a week.
