Students, VIPs and guests gathered in the Aula to take part in the seminar "Europe after the Lisbon treaty", organized by the Spanish Embassy in Bulgaria.

Prof. Popivanov, Vice-Rector, opened the seminar thanked the Embassy for the support for the redecoration of the Aula years ago. He noted that the event is related to the issuing of the book "Lisbon treaty, consolidated text and commentary" by the Sofia University Press.

Official guests of the seminar were H. E. Mr. Jorge Fuentes, Ambassador of Spain, Mr. Konstantin Dimitrov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Mr. Petar Stoyanov, President of Bulgaria between 1997 and 2002.
