It will take place from 6th to 8th April, in the Rectorate. The opening ceremony is on 6th April, 9 am, in the Aula.

The Center for Research, Design and Delivery of Quality e-Learning is a relatively new structure within Sofia University which was established with the financial support of National Science Fund and the Operational Programme for Human Resource Development of the European Social Fund. It builds upon the existing structures of Sofia University and gathers the research and teaching expertise in the field of e-learning theory and practice of the oldest and most prestigious educational institution in Bulgaria.

By naming our conference E-Learning, Distance Education or … the Education of 21st Century, we envision to provoke the idea of symbiosis between technology and learning in such a way so to reflect the tendency of their union and to promote the idea that the separation of these two fields is no longer appropriate. Technology enhanced learning with its mobility and openness is viewed as an immanent characteristic of the future education. The near future education, we believe.

Key speaker of the conference is Prof. Nossq prfessor in mathematics with the Institute of Education, University of London, and co-director of London Knowledge Lab, who will deliver a lecture "Learning the unlearnable, teaching the unteachable".

The wide spectrum of scientific topics will be presented in several sections:

• Methodological, theoretical, practical, legal and technological aspects of integrating information
and communication technologies (ICT) in education;
• Technologies in education management;
• Technology related solutions in education support and delivery;
• The role of technology in providing equal opportunities and access to education;
• Quality of technology enhanced teaching and learning;
• Good practices in using technology in diverse educational contexts;
• Teacher qualification in using technologies in education.
