H.E. Dr. Chun Bee-ho, the new Korean Ambassador, and Prof. Ivan Ilchev, Rector of Sofia University, discussed cooperation in the fields of education, science, and new technologies.
Prof. Ilchev declared his strong belief in the continuous cooperation between Sofia University and Republic of Korea Embassy. He introduced the initiatives and collaborations with Korean universities which Sofia University is involved in.
The accent was on the new Bulgarian-Korean ICT Centre to be established in Sofia.
Prof. Ivan Ilchev and Dr. Bee-ho talked about lecturer and student exchange between the two countries. The Ambassador was informed about the Sofia University programmes taught in English, and announced his interest in closer cooperation in the field of medicine.
