The main goal of the project "Transfer of the French certificate Family Assistant – AFUE" is to train specialists in the three countries through delivery of the specifics of the training in the French Qualification Family Assistant. The Family Assistants will be trained to be more efficient, competent and better at coping with everyday situations. The skills will be developed through field practicing in addition to the theoretical training in psychology and pediatrics. The training institutions will update and adapt the training programmes, which to be validated in the four participating countries: Bulgaria, Rumania, Hungary and France.

The project supports the educational system by including common European tools which support the mutual recognition of competencies. The approach is to introduce the notion of validating competences in the field of professional qualification of family assistants.
