On the eve of the Day of Bulgarian Culture and Cyrillic Alphabet, 24th May, Prof. Dragomir Draganov was awarded the Blue Ribbon Insignia of Honour of Sofia University.
His career and scientific research are dedicated to his beloved Faculty of History, as he says, where he teaches at the Department of Early Modern and Modern History.
Some of his works are "Francism. History and Politics", "Communists in Spain after Franco 1975-1982”, "Political systems of 20th century/Democracy, totalitarianism, authoritarianism".
He thanked Prof. Ilchev for the honour in an emotional speech and addressed the graduates warmly.
