The Day of the International Cuisine was marked in the restaurant Yajtseto on 11th May. The event was organized by the Student Council, The Association for Development of the Arab-Bulgarian Initiatives and Cooperation and the Association of the Foreign Students.
Representatives of 16 countries cooked for more than 3 hours in order to present their national dishes to the guests.
The competition took place in two rounds. The first was "Salad Tour", won by the salad "From grandma's garden". The second round was a competition among the foreign students, representatives from Japan, Moldova, Azerbaijan, Kirghistan, Lithuania, Poland, Peru and others.
The first place for outlook of the dish was awarded to Bulgaria, next came Kirghistan and Moldova, followed by Poland and Azerbaijan; the competition for taste was won by Moldova and Spain, followed by Ukraine and Azerbaijan.
