The Deputy Director of Sofia University Library Bilyana Yarukova was awarded "Best Young Librarian" for 2010.
The status, funding and activities of the school library will be an issue of the bill for a Law for Preschool and School Education. This was announced by Tsetska Tsacheva, Chairwoman of the National Assembly of Bulgaria at the official opening ceremony for the National Week of the Libraries.
