Awards for the Bulgarian team in the International Competition in Physics

The International Competition in Physics held in Tallinn and Tartu, Estonia between 15th and 24th July brought 4 medals and a honorary diploma to our team.

Leaders of the team are Assoc. prof. Viktor Ivanov (Vice-Dean) and Assoc. Prof. Miroslav Abrashev, Faculty of Physics, Sofia University.

Bulgaria came 18th of 82 countries with 379 participants; 5th of 23 EU countries and second from the Balkans.

The winners are as follows:

Vesselin Karazdhov, gold - 12 grade, American College, Sofia;

Yordan Yordanov, silver - 11 grade, High School of Science and Mathematics, Kazanluk;

Katerina Naydenova - silver - 10 grade, High School of Science and Mathematics, Kazanluk;

Konstantin Gundev, bronze - 12 grade, High School of Mathematics, Plovdiv;

Kaloyan Durmonev - a honorary diploma, 11 grade honorary diploma, High School of Mathematics, Varna.
