Sofia University hosted a conference and an exhibition "Antarctic Art"
It was attended by the Ambassador of Argentina H.E. Guillermo Salvador Asrak, Dr Mariano Memoli, the head of the National Antarctic Directorate of Argentina, Dimitar Tsanchev, Deputy Foreign Minister, Sofia University Rector, Prof. Ilchev, Prof. Pimpirev, chair of the Bulgarian Antarctic Institute and leader of the Bulgarian expeditions to Antarctica, and Andrea Juan, photographer.
The conference also noted the 80th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Bulgaria and Argentina.
