A pleasant event gathered almost all of the lecturers of the Faculty of History on 27th of May, in the Oval Hall. In honour of Prof. Ivanichka Georgieva was presented a two-volume collection by 70 authors.
Department "Ethnology" of the Faculty of History initiated the publishing of this work, in cooperation with "IF-94" and the Institute and Museum of Ethnography at Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. The work "In the human's world" was collected and edited by Jenny Madjarov and Krassimir Stoilov, and the two volumes were printed by Sofia University Press.
Prof. Ivanichka Georgieva dedicated four decades to educating about 33 generations of students. Her well-known modesty didn't prevent her from inspiring and gaining dedicated followers into the hard work of ethnologist. Some of her works are "Ethnography of Bulgaria", vol. 3 "Bulgarian Mythology", "Aromans in Bulgaria", etc.
