A lecture on "Bulgaria and EU: the relevant titles" was held today at 2 p.m. in the Aula.
A special guest of the University was Prof. Rinus van Shendelen. The lecture was organized by the Doctoral and post-doctoral institute "Dialogue Europe", the Embassy of Holland and the National association of the municipality clerks in Bulgaria.
Prof. Rinus van Shendelen works in the field of political science, university Erasmus, Rotterdam, Holland and delivers lectures for lobby groups in the EU. He is the author of the book "Machiavelli in Brussels. The Art of Lobbying the EU. The newest edition includes the last accepted countries (Bulgaria inclusive) and reveals the process of decision making.
Countless groups which represent governments and NGOs try to lobby effectively in the EU and the book comments on these which take their actions seriously. The book collects, presents and analyzes good practices based on real situations.
