The 90th anniversary of the birth of the renowned Bulgarian philosopher Azaria Polikarov (1921-2000) was on 8th October. Prof. Polikarov, Academician of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences was among the highly respected Bulgarian sciences around the world, who worked for the Universities of Leipzig, Berlin, Boston, St. Petersburgh, as well as in the UNESCO Central in Paris. He was a polyglot with a lot of original scientific contributions in the fields of methodology of scientific knowledge, heuristics, scientific history and philosophy.
