The Network was founded in 1998 and consists of over 100 universities from the 12 countries- Members of the organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) – Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Moldova, Romania, Serbia, Russian Federation, Turkey and Ukraine. BSUN aims at exploring the ways for establishing joint scientific and educational projects and supporting Reforms in the Partner Universities in conformity with the Bologna Process.
