About the Programme "Nuclear Technologies, Management, and Innovations"

The Master's programme in Nuclear Technology, Management and Innovation (in English) is designed for candidates from all majors with a Bachelor's or Master's degree, and is most suitable for graduates of economics, management and/or engineering majors and programmes. The aim of the Master's programme is to prepare highly qualified specialists who are proficient in modern management methods and tools with a specific focus on the nuclear industry and its organisations. These include micro- and macro-environmental diagnostics, industrial analysis, functional organization analysis, organization and human resource management strategies, business strategies, resource and functional strategies, international strategies, etc. Educational objectives of this magnitude are being set for the first time. Their essence lies in the training of personnel who are able to think interdisciplinarily and apply combined approaches in their work:

  • Have a thorough knowledge of analysing existing technologies and their evolution, proposing and implementing appropriate improvement measures.
  • Understand and successfully apply International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) standards and guidelines, adapting and interpreting them for national specificities.
  • Acquire the ability to apply theoretical methods in practice and to analyse various risks in the implementation process. Discuss the important features of current practices for the evaluation of nuclear safety, radiation and physical protection measures.
  • Conduct follow-up training activities for professionals by developing nuclear technology procedures. To be able to establish links between the areas concerned and to train relevant professionals in their application.
