KPMG’s Deal Advisory team provides due diligence services to clients in M&A transactions, strategy and business development advice and valuation services, helping Bulgarian and international companies from various industries to make informed value-adding decisions and meet regulatory and investors’ requirements.

As part of the team, you will contribute to client engagements by analyzing financial statements and granular data, performing market and valuation research, providing forecast analyses and developing financial models. You will also offer support in go-to-market activities such as drafting proposals and doing industry and company research.

What will you do?

• Take active part in analyzing the performance of businesses, valuing companies and real estate assets, and building and analysing financial models
• Proactively support market research and business development activities of the senior team to assist in identifying potential transactions and potential investors/buyers
• Work on cross-border projects across a wide range of industries and markets as part of a multidisciplinary team of transaction professionals

What are we looking for?

• Last-year students, graduates or people with 1-2 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: audit, financial planning and analysis, transaction advisory, valuation, or other relevant experience
• Relevant University degree
• Previous exposure to financial accounting, financial and business analysis, valuation and/or modelling would be considered an advantage
• Demonstrated ability to connect business information with operational and accounting data
• Strong research skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bulgarian
• Proficient command of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
