On 12 and 13 September 2023, "REMIT - Regulation on Wholesale Energy Market Integrity and Transparency" - a collaborative certification course of the Center for Educational Services at Sofia University and the “Utilities” magazine was held at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Sofia University.

Dr. Gergana Kulina-Radeva, Technical University - Sofia, Demetra Blazheva-Zlatarova, Technical University - Sofia, Dilyana Ivanova, lawyer, “Ivanova & Ivanova” Law Firm, Irina Tagarinska-Ilcheva, Director of Directorate "Antitrust and concentrations" at the Bulgarian Commission for Protection of Competition, Krasimir Zivachki, National Electric Company and Pavlin Stoyanov, lawyer, "Visiaw" gave lectures during the event.

The participants had the opportunity to exchange experience and knowledge in the field of wholesale energy trading. The course discussed platforms and mechanisms for reporting transactions, the legal framework, forms of market manipulation, as well as practical tips and features. 25 participants from energy companies - managers and experts took part in the training.

With a wish for success and an invitation to apply for the master's program "Energy Markets and Services" of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of the Sofia University, the Dean Assoc. Prof. Atanas Georgiev closed the event. He presented certificates for successful completion of the training course to the participants.
