This semester, within the course "Applications of artificial intelligence in the fintech industry" with Assof. Prof. Boryana Bogdanova, the students from the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics (FEBA) of SU "St. Kliment Ohridsk" had the opportunity to attend a guest lecture delivered by IBM Bulgaria experts on the topic of "AI Governance for Business".

They learned why the management of artificial intelligence is essential today and how businesses can more effectively manage initiatives in this area with responsible, transparent, and accessible work processes with the help of the right technological tools. Students were presented with the current legal frameworks and upcoming regulatory changes regarding artificial intelligence in the European Union and worldwide.

Students also participated in a practical session, experiencing first-hand the features of the IBM platform to track the status of AI models in real-time and see how it facilitates collaboration between process participants, tracking and documenting the origins of models, the techniques used to train them, and all the associated metadata needed to audit and improve models.
