On November 14, 2023, a Masterclass on the topic "ESG in the agricultural sector - innovations, opportunities, and challenges" was held at the UBB Millennium Center - a joint initiative of UBB and the master’s program "Innovations and Digital Transformation of Agribusiness" at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEBA) of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski".

Desislava Simeonova, Executive Director SME Banking of UBB and Leader of the KBC Group’s Sustainable Finance Programme, opened the event. As part of the program, Marinela Koeva, Head of Marketing, Credit Products, and Sustainable Development, and Dr. Kiril Velichkov, Head of European Projects and Financial Institutions, presented the bank's initiatives to support the sustainable development of agribusiness.
