A discussion on the topic "Climate change in Bulgaria - strategies, policies and tipping points" is going to be held on December 13, 2023, within the framework of the 25th Annual International Conference of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, which this year is under the title "Sustainability, Social Economy and Digital Transformation".

On the first day of the three-day conference, the topic of climate and sustainability is going to be discussed. What is coming up in global terms, what can we do to build a society with more thought towards sustainability, and what is the role of Bulgaria, of our citizens, politicians, academia, and society, are going to be part of the topics. The event is going to take place on December 13 at 4 p.m. in Aula Magna of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski".

The event is going to be attended by Sana Lingorski, UNFCC, Boyko Takov, Executive Director of The Bulgarian Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion Agency, Sasha Bezuhanova, MOVE.BG, Rositsa Karamfilova-Blagova, Advisor of the Bulgarian President on Ecology, Prof. Nikolaos Theodosiou, Chairman of UN SDSN Black Sea. The moderator of the panel is going to be Assoc. Prof. Marina Stefanova, Vice-Dean "Sustainability, Empowerment and Engagement" at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration.

During the conference, we will also find out more about the visit of the Bulgarian delegation to the United Nations Climate Change Conference COP28 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, where Assoc. Prof. Marina Stefanova also participated. We are about to learn about the unique Bulgarian project "Kaleidoscope", developed entirely by a team of FEBA and the "FEB" Foundation, as well as to attend its official premiere. Attendees are going to have the opportunity to learn about the Mobile Center for Visual Science “Kaleidoscope” and to see the first "immersive" exhibitions – “World at Risk” and “Hope for the Future”. The Mobile Center for Visual Science presents 3D immersive exhibitions in the form of digital images, movements and music, an innovative model based on the visitor experience.

Before the official opening of the panel in Aula Magna, there are going to be activities in the building of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration. Zornitsa Rusinova, Chairperson of the Economic and Social Council of the Republic of Bulgaria, is going to present a pilot simulation on the topic of "Social Justice Within the Frames of Green Transition".
