We are now looking for Senior Finance Coordinator to be part of our Sofia team (hybrid or office-based) on a fixed - term contract.

We are currently looking for a detail-oriented and organized Senior Finance Coordinator to manage our vendor master data. The Senior Finance Coordinator will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date vendor information to ensure smooth financial transactions and compliance. The ideal candidate possesses data management skills and an understanding of financial processes.

Main duties:

  • Maintain and update vendor master data in the financial system, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with various departments to gather necessary vendor documentation, including W-9 forms, tax certificates, and banking information.
  • Perform data validation and verification to guarantee that vendor information is consistent and accurate.
  • Act as the point of contact for internal inquiries related to vendor master data, providing necessary support and guidance to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to vendor data and transactions.
  • Participate in audits and reviews related to vendor data, ensuring compliance with internal controls and external regulations.

Education:

Master's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification or last year in process of acquiring Economics degree.

Knowledge, skills, abilities:

  • At least a year of experience in finance, accounting, or data management.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in data entry and management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of vendor management best practices, financial processes, and compliance requirements is considered a plus.
  • Understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage workload efficiently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficient in Excel and MS Office.
  • Previous experience with ERP system (Oracle preferred).
