ИНСТРУКЦИИ ЗА ПРОВЕЖДАНЕ НА КАНДИДАТ-ДОКТОРАНТСКИТЕ ИЗПИТИ ПО ЗАПАДЕН ЕЗИК – ДЕКЕМВРИ 2023 г.
Кандидат-докторантските изпити по западен език през декември 2023 г. ще се проведат присъствено в Ректората на СУ по определен график (за чуждестранните кандидат-докторанти изпитът ще се проведе онлайн в платформата Мудъл, за което ще получат допълнителни инструкции).
- ИЗИСКВАНИЯ:
Кандидат-докторантите трябва да подготвят оригинален научен текст от 100 печатни страници от публикация в областта, в която ще разработват дисертацията си. Представят този текст на комисията, а тя посочва частта, която кандидат-докторантите трябва да могат да прочетат, преведат и да й направят лексикален и морфо-синтактичен анализ.
Чуждестранните кандидат-докторанти трябва да качат подготвения текст в PDF формат към създадения курс, в платформата Мудъл.
- ИДЕНТИФИКАЦИЯ НА КАНДИДАТ-ДОКТОРАНТА:
Преди започване на изпита, комисията е длъжна да провери самоличността на кандидата, като за целта той показва своята лична карта, така че комисията да се увери, че кандидатът е същото лице, посочено в протокола. При липса на идентификационен документ или проблем с потвърждаването на самоличността на кандидата, ще бъдат взети всички необходими административни мерки и изпитът няма да бъде проведен.
- Английски език – 19 декември 2023, 09.00 ч. – Всички кандидати трябва да се явят в Нова конферентна зала на СУ, откъдето ще бъдат разпределяни по комисии.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR ORGANISING EXAMS IN FOREIGN (WESTERN) LANGUAGES FOR PHD APPLICANTS – December 2023
Schedule for the organization of the examinations in a foreign (western) language for PhD applicants
Exams in a foreign (western) language for PhD applicants will be held in December 2023 in person at the Rectorate of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” according to a set schedule. For foreign PhD applicants the exam will take place online in the Moodle platform of Sofia University according to a schedule for which they will receive further specific instructions.
- REQUIREMENTS
PhD applicants have to prepare in advance a scientific text of 100 standard printed pages from a monograph in the field of their potential PhD studies. The PhD applicants are expected to read the excerpt, translate it, and produce lexical and morpho-syntactic analysis of the excerpt.
Foreign PhD applicants are supposed to upload the prepared text in PDF format under the specifically created assignment in the respective course in the Moodle platform.
- IDENTIFICATION OF THE PHD APPLICANT
Before the beginning of the exam, it is the examination committee’s obligation to check the identity of the applicant. The PhD applicant should show their ID document so that the members of the examination committee can verify that the person sitting the exam is the same as the one entered in the examination protocol. In case of lack of an identification document or any problem relating to the verification of the identity of the PhD applicant all necessary administrative measures will be taken and the exam will be cancelled.
ENGLISH
The online exam in English for foreign PhD applicants will take place on 21 December 2023, start time: 09.00. The exam is online and can be accessed at:
Online via the electronic platform MOODLE will only be examined PhD candidates who live abroad.
The PhD candidates who are to take the exam online will be sent a link to Moodle, a username and a password. The schedule with the names of the PhD candidates and the time of coming online before the respective exam jury will be uploaded to Moodle one day before the exam date.
The Phd applicants are solely responsible for uploading their exam materials in the Moodle platform, in the respective exam room.
The PhD applicants will receive a user name and password on their emails and are obliged to upload the chosen material prior to the exam.
