Position
- Title: Administrative Management Assistant
- Location: U.S. Embassy Sofia, Bulgaria
- Salary: BGN 37,935 per year (gross)
- Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week)
- Contract Type: Permanent (subject to probationary period)
Responsibilities
- Support U.S. European Command programs, including Military-to-Military, Military-to-Civilian, and State Partnership Programs.
- Serve as a liaison with the Bulgarian Ministry of Defense and service components.
- Provide program management, analytical, and administrative support for bilateral affairs engagements.
- Conduct project monitoring, budgeting, and event coordination.
- Offer expertise on Bulgarian Ministry of Defense processes and manage sensitive information securely.
- Translate and prepare professional reports in English and Bulgarian.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Relations, Political Science, International Relations, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 3 years of program management or analysis, including 1 year working with the Bulgarian Ministry of Defense or similar entities.
- Languages: Fluent in English and Bulgarian (spoken, written, reading).
- Skills:Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and analytical tools.
- Knowledge of U.S.-Bulgarian agreements, Bulgarian government and military structures, and international relations.
- Valid Bulgarian driver's license (minimum 5 years of experience).
