Graduates of the Master's degree in "Public Administration" expand and deepen their knowledge and skills in disciplines, essential for work in the field of public administration - legal, economic, managerial, political and humanities.

 

The education of Public Administration is built for the requirements of modern European-Style Administration and meets the aspirations of the contemporary European administrative reform.

 

Students who acquire a Master's degree in Public Administration will have the necessary professional competence on the public management in various spheres and sectors. Students acquire skills for practical application of regulations, human resources management, information technologies use in the public administration, making management decisions in the areas of public policy, governance and administration in terms of democratic governance. Graduates also acquire knowledge of the interaction between politics and administration, public governance and economics and form specific leadership skills.

 

The variety of the knowledge and skills acquired in the Master's program allows wide field of realization for graduates. They can work in all areas and levels of Public Administration as Civil Servants, which require a Master's degree in accordance with the specific regulations in the field. They can find their career as managers in various departments of the State, Local and European Institutions administration, including the highest levels of the public management hierarchy. They can also work in the nonprofit sector and in the consultancy services for public sector.

 

Admission requirements:

 

•Official diplomas and transcripts of higher education degree programmes (at least BA level) from a recognised university.

 

•Completed application form.

 

Selection of applicants is based only on submitted transcripts and official documents. Selection procedure is based on average results from the BA or MA degree. Applicants will be ranked based on the GPA of their Bachelor or MA degree.

 

The lectures in the full-time MPA programme are held on a regular weekly basis predominantly during Saturdays and Sundays.
