Vice Dean of the Faculty of Geology and Geography Assoc. Prof. Nikola Botoucharov was nominated and won the Scientific Society Award for the best report in the section "Oil & Gas Exploration" at the 20th anniversary of International Conference SGEM 2020, held in Albena 16-25. 08. 2020.
Assoc. Prof. Botoucharov presented at the conference the results of the work of the team of scientists from Sofia University and the Institute of Oceanology at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (Varna) on a project KP-06-OPR04/7 GEOHydrate “Geothermal evolution of marine gas hydrate deposits - Danube paleodelta, Black Sea”, funded by the Research Fund at the Ministry of Education and Science.
