The TWIN4ECO project, spearheaded by the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”, was successfully presented at the Plovdiv Science Festival, held from November 28 to December 1 at the Center for Plant Systems Biology and Biotechnology. The festival is one of Bulgaria’s most engaging and dynamic science-focused events, showcasing the intersection of science, technology, and art through captivating presentations by leading Bulgarian and international scientists, discussions, demonstrations, and interactive workshops for all ages.

TWIN4ECO’s participation provided a valuable opportunity to promote science in an accessible and engaging manner, emphasizing research in energy economics and innovations. The team of the Project, funded under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, presented their achievements to date, highlighted opportunities for scientific research in the energy sector, and outlined upcoming initiatives, including mobility options and financial support for PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, and young scientists.

The second edition of the Plovdiv Science Festival featured a diverse four-day program, including lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on workshops, giving participants the chance to explore the latest scientific discoveries and innovations across various fields. The event was organized by the “Beautiful Science” Foundation in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Science and the Municipality of Plovdiv, with Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” serving as an academic partner.
