On 29 October, a team of inspiring women from IBM Bulgaria, in partnership with the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” held interactive sessions with two groups of bachelor’s students. The aim of the initiative was to introduce young talents to the fundamentals of artificial intelligence and the wide range of opportunities it offers.
The sessions were practical and dynamic, featuring game-based activities, discussions, and tasks that helped students understand how AI is applied in the real world — both in everyday life and in their studies. Participants had the opportunity to ask questions and receive guidance on key skills needed for a successful career in the technology sector.
During the meetings, IBM SkillsBuild was also presented — a free learning platform designed to support students and professionals in developing up-to-date digital competencies. SkillsBuild offers advanced courses and industry-recognized certificates in areas such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, digital skills, and more. Through the platform, participants can take important steps toward preparing for the future of work.
IBM Bulgaria emphasized its commitment to supporting the next generation of technology professionals, as well as the importance of promoting diversity and equal opportunities in the sector.
