The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEBA) and the Master Programs in Business Administration (Strategic Management and Human Resources Development) are inviting interested academics and practitioners to an online webinar by Assist. Prof. Deyan Radev, PhD on the topic “Bank Resolution and Financial Crises” at 7 pm on June 11, 2020.

The webinar will be based on the paper “Bank Resolution Regimes and Systemic Risk” (with Prof. Isabel Schnabel (Executive Board of the European Central Bank) and Prof. Thorsten Beck (Cass Business School)), which available as a CEPR Discussion Paper 14724 (DP14724, Link: https://cepr.org/active/publications/discussion_papers/dp.php?dpno=14724) and has featured in the VoxEU blog (Link: https://voxeu.org/article/bank-resolution-frameworks-systemic-crises). The paper is also available on SSRN (Link: https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=3593542).

 

The paper has been presented at the Federal Reserve Board, Bank for International Settlements, European Central Bank, European Systemic Risk Board, Single Resolution Board, Bank of England, Cass Business School, the Universities of Bonn, Frankfurt, Mannheim and Munich, as well as the conferences of the American and European Economic Associations. Invited talks at the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) and the American Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) are postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
