With over 20 years’ experience working within both regulated and de-regulated energy sectors in Ireland, Northern Ireland, UK, and Southern Africa, Jessica’s expertise spans key areas such as energy regulation, market design, and consultancy services for both gas and electricity markets covering retail through to generation. Her unique combination of systems, technical, commercial, and regulatory skills allows her to effectively communicate, advise and provide solutions to energy companies that consider their whole organisation and competing priorities. At Oak Hall Consulting, she and her team of 15 consultants provide energy market expertise to a wide range of businesses including energy company start-ups, established energy supply companies, community energy projects and other public and private sector bodies. A key specialisation of her company is guiding energy companies through digital transformation, which has become a critical factor in the industry’s evolution.

In her lecture, titled "Empowering Beyond: Innovation in Female-led Energy Ventures", Jessica will explore how innovation, resilience, and leadership play pivotal roles in shaping successful ventures in the energy sector. Drawing from her personal experience of founding and growing her own consultancy, she will offer practical strategies for overcoming challenges, fostering innovation, and driving success in the competitive energy industry.
