The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” won a new project funded by the Erasmus+ program, KA220 – Partnership cooperation in higher education, on “Awareness of the Green Deal through augmented reality in primary school education”.

The project aims to support digital and green skills in higher education institutions and raise awareness of a sustainable environment, in the context of environmental and climate change issues. Innovative teaching practices in this area will also be considered.

The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration is the coordinator, and the project partners are:

  • Latvijas Universitate (Latvia)
  • Universitatea “Lucian Blaga” in Sibiu (Romania)
  • GedonSoft GmbH (Germany)
  • Canakkale Onsekiz Mart Universitesi (Turkey)

The head of the project is Prof. Dr. Albena Vutsova, and part of the team are Assoc. Prof. Dr. Todor Yalamov, Dr. Olga Ignatova and Dr. Nikolay Yanev.

The implementation of project activities will support the development of sustainable partnerships through inter-institutional collaboration, knowledge sharing and networking and validation by local communities and stakeholders. The partnership will contribute to the development of a new type of digital educational ecosystem connecting teachers and students, as well as the educational infrastructures of the partner universities.
