The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski ”continues to support and is an important element of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Bulgaria. In March we co-organized the hackathon From Zero to Fintech with the Bulgarian Fintech Association, and through the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs program we provide mentoring and financial support to start-up entrepreneurs (with up to three years of experience).
The Entrepreneurship World Cup (www.entrepreneurshipworldcup.com) is a global competition of entrepreneurs from 200 countries, vying for prizes worth more than 1 million dollars, receiving training, mentoring and funding opportunities from various national and global partners.
The right to apply have companies that are registered after December 1, 2014 in our country or teams that plan to establish a company in Bulgaria. The competition is held in three categories: Conceptual phase, Early phase and Growth phase. See the detailed rules of the competition here. The application deadline is July 25, 2021. Bulgaria will make a preliminary selection and nominate the best entrepreneurs to participate in the finals in November in Saudi Arabia.
