On May 25, the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski” and Enery Services signed a cooperation agreement.

The priorities of work within the agreement between the Faculty and Enery Services are:

  • Investments in quality education in the field of RES by providing case studies, organizing study visits and specialized lectures, supporting master's and doctoral theses;
  • Stimulating the interest of young people, with a focus on girls, in energy and renewable energy sources by providing scholarships, internships and others;
  • Improving learning conditions by investing in energy efficient solutions and improving the urban environment.

“By signing today's cooperation agreement, the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration reaffirms its leadership role in the implementation of partnerships between business and academia in relation to sustainable development and energy. The projects and initiatives we prepare together with Enery Services are aimed at practical cases and internships for our masters, research on the environmental and social effects of energy projects, as well as improving the energy performance of our campus, in line with recent the adopted documents of the Sofia University - Strategy for Sustainable Development and Climate Plan”, said the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration Assoc. Prof. Dr. Atanas Georgiev.

Enery Services develops, operates, builds and operates renewable power plants. The company has a portfolio of 156 MW in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Bulgaria. Enery believes that an integrated approach can deliver and ensure a secure, reliable, and sustainable supply of green electricity to customers.

Enery Services is a partner of the master's program Energy markets and Services and the master's program Responsible and Sustainable Governance at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration.
